Spotify Google Home Skipping

My question or issue songs skip around without me.

Spotify google home skipping. I have an lg g6 google home and google chromecast. I ll ask google to stop pause playback and it will for a second then just starts up again. I will start playing a playlist from my spotify then you ll hear a static pop like sound and the song skips to the next one. I could understand you not wanting to disparage itunes or reveal that there is a cross platform problem between the software for fear of losing subscribers due to compatability issues.

I swear my google home hubs and especially the lenovo hubs i have are getting hard of hearing. When playing music on my google home mini songs will randomly be skipped in the middle of playing. Whenever i connect and play to my google extensions songs skip 1 second after another and i do not hear anything but they are playing on the app. Every time i cast spotify to my living room google home it s skips 5 songs at once then plays the 6th song.

My question or issue. I ve factory reset the google home and my spotify app. I ve tried resetting rebooting and shouting but nothing works. If you ve checked off all of the steps above and music is still choppy when playing from google home try one of the steps below and then see if it helps.
