Bt Home Hub 4 Orange Light
For last 3 weeks i have had a problem with home hub 4 showing flashing or steady orange light for several hours of each day at a time.
Bt home hub 4 orange light. Had an engineer who said there was no fault on the line but it could be the hub. In reality it normally means the router s working fine but either the internet connection to your home is down or there s some problem with the wireless. The phone line and phone is working fine i test socket also. If reset it shows blue for about 20 seconds then will go orange again.
Bt sent engineer who looked at it and said he couldn t fix it. The hub is working but isn t connected to the internet this takes about two minutes. Solid orange light on smart hub if the light is solid orange then the hub has a broadband connection but the login details it s looking for to connect you to the internet are wrong or missing. If your hub 2 works ok just stick with it there is no need to change it.

Hi can anyone tell me what a flashing pink orange light means on a bt home hub 4. Could this be problem at exchange. If that doesn t help you may have a faulty homehub or there could be a problem with your line. The broadband speeds are extremely slow 0 2mb s the phone line is extremely.

It seems there s yet another bug in the bt home hub 5 and later bt smart hubs causing it to be unable to connect to broadband and show an orange flashing light. Give it a minute or two to connect. Dial 17070 from your landline and make sure that the phone number on the line is what it should be. The light will turn steady blue when your hub is ready. Had orange light on home hub 4 for 2 weeks now.
